John Bruner was born and raised in Carroll, Iowa. In 1965, he married his high school sweetheart, Connie Schreck, and they raised two very special daughters, Christine and Jennifer. Both daughters married hometown boys and have given their folks seven terrific grandkids.
John was a high school and junior high school principal, teacher and coach for sixteen years. In 1982, he entered the financial services industry where he is currently managing a full-blown practice, specializing in retirement income planning.
According to John, he has too much love and too much fun in his life to even think about retiring or dying, so he has alerted his readers to watch for a sequel sometime in 2010. The title of the sequel: "ME & SNAP & GOD"!
